Good Things:
i've been a great scout service coordinator for APO
i'm the administrative vice president for APO next semester
I've completed 85hrs of service this semster
I liked my teaching class and the little 4th graders I taught
I'm going to China over the winter break!
Other than that, i'm just trying to make it through the next week and a half of exams and other business.

| Hey, it's time for my quarterly update. Summer is going good,
i'm taking government and chemestry at the prestigeous college of
tarrant county. I'm also working the night shift at the local
fitness club, lifetime fitness. The pay isn't bad and the time
goes fast. And, since my shift is from 11pm to 7am,
this communications major doesn't really have to talk to anyone if he
doesn't feel like it. In fact, i'm at work right now, sitting at
the front desk waiting for people to come in so i can swipe their
cards. Other than that i clean, clean, and clean.
bathrooms, locker rooms, towels, pools, you name it.
Later this summer I'm going backpacking in the rockies for 3
weeks. I've been backpacking before but not for this long and i
love it. When i was a kid, my parents would ask me what i wanted
to do when i grew up and i would always tell them that i wanted to run
away and live as a mountain man. They laughed but i still ponder.
Can't waite to get back to my home, Austin, The University of Texas. | | |
| - the best is yet to come undone spring break was fun, of course that was a week ago and this is Easter. Things didn't start off too good. My car died a couple times before I even left Austin. That put me behind a day. Then my pet squirrel, Sandy, died the day I got to Houston. Sandy was the coolest thing I've ever witnessed, I fed her with a syrenge and puppy formula milk. She only had peach fuzz and her eyes hadn't opened yet.
Houston was cool. I visited family and went to the rodeo for the first time ever. On my way to corpus, my gramps gave me a 20 and my grandma said, "use this to buy a girl a drink down there on the beach" and I was like score.
Corpus was fun too. It was a little cold and windy but that didn't stop me from swimming and other stuff. The drive back was pretty good too and I got some awesome video footage. | | |
| umm, i meant to post an entry about my trip to colorado and the rose bowl with my fraturnity over new years but i never did, just know that it was the best trip ever...... anyway, on to current chit.... i ran a marathon yesterday, that's 26.2 miles for those of you non runners, thats a fucking long way to run. thats like from here (Austin) to roundrock. But anyway, i finished it and now i walk like one of them crazy UT squirrels is built a fort and having a little tea party in my anus. sorry guys, only girls allowed. Anyhoo, anyone can run a marathon if they train so don't doubt yourself. | | |
| - norwiegan song, nice triplet feel, i think it's on this album, just download it I’ll make this brief because I don’t really like reading people’s xangas that start out, “well, today was good blah blah blah,” How does bullet points sound….
- 12am-4am, lost my ID and couldn’t find it, no ID = no food, no entry to building, no nothing! (still can’t find it, replacement = $10 but it minez well be $100 because I’m poor like everyone else)
- woops, forgot to sleep, 5:30am – at the boat house for crew, crewed in rain and cold, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rain and cold
- I was driving back and accidentally turned down a one-way road only to come face to face with a cop car. Took my time backing up while his light flashed at me.
“I need your drivers liscense and insurance,”
“sorry officer, I can’t find it,” (let me bend over while you fuck me in the ars)
“Looks like everythings expired on this car”
”I don’t think it is” (fuck, did I just tell the cop he was a moron, I’m gonna get it)
“oh yeah, you still got time (son, did you just correct me, ooohhhh, you’re gonna get it)
Embarasment = %100 as I sit one street away from my dorm and wait for the $160 ticket.
- No ID = no breakfast, survived on left over Halloween candy
- /\ /\ /\ Bad idea, sugar rush and then biiiiig low, I slept through my 9am, 12pm
- Still no ID = no lunch, survived on left over Halloween candy
- /\ /\ /\ Bad idea, sugar rush and then biiiiig low, slept through my 2pm and 6pm
- You guessed it, no ID = no dinner, surviving on left over Halloween candy
- The only way to make my problems go away is to run but my shoes are all too crappy, my right gluteus minimus hurts, and I can’t get a pair until next week (long story)
----- I think that last one is when my chronological day of horror turned from my bad day to me whining about it but it makes me feel better. | | |
